When we first began designing this wedding, the goal was clear: create something that felt alive. Set against the dramatic mountain backdrop, we wanted the design to soften the landscape with warmth, color, and an unmistakable sense of celebration, a wedding that felt intimate and expressive, yet grounded in its surroundings.
From the very beginning, color played a leading role. Instead of leaning into the expected muted mountain palette, we embraced rich corals, warm peaches, soft blush, and vibrant pops of orange and pink. These tones were intentionally chosen to bring warmth and romance into the space while still complementing the natural stone, wood, and mountain views.
Ceremony Design
The ceremony was designed as a striking contrast to the expansive, neutral backdrop. Lush floral arrangements backed the aisle, creating an immersive experience for guests as they made their way toward the ceremony space. The florals felt abundant and organic, with layered textures, varying heights, and a mix of blooms that felt garden-inspired rather than overly structured.
Ribbon details along the aisle chairs added movement and softness, catching the light and breeze and subtly guiding the eye toward the couple. The ceremony structure itself was kept simple and architectural, allowing the florals and the surrounding mountains to take center stage. When the couple walked back down the aisle together, framed by color and cheering guests, it felt electric, joyful, emotional, and completely them.
Reception Design
For the reception, we leaned into a cozy, romantic atmosphere, one that felt like a warm dinner party tucked inside a mountain lodge. The sweetheart table was designed as a focal point, layered with texture and detail. Soft linens, warm candlelight, and thoughtfully chosen tabletop elements created a space that felt elevated yet inviting.
Floral installations were intentionally abundant but low and lush, encouraging connection and conversation while still making a statement. Candles were placed generously throughout, using taper candles for height, votives for warmth, all while creating a glow that softened the stone fireplace and added depth to the room as evening set in.
What made this wedding truly special wasn’t just the color palette or the floral installations — it was the way everything worked together to create a feeling. Every design choice was made with intention: warmth over perfection, personality over trends, and emotion over excess.
This wedding was bold without being loud, romantic without being overly traditional, and deeply personal in every detail. Designing it was a reminder of why we love what we do, creating spaces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel unforgettable.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels expressive, intentional, and completely your own, this is your reminder that color, texture, and thoughtful design can transform even the most dramatic setting into something deeply personal.
