When it came to planning your wedding, what was most important to you?

Floral (was so happy with sweet bloom she captured everything we could have imagined), being able to enjoy the day (which was why we hired Day of Diva for day of coordination), photography (to have the memories to look back on), and the music really made the night. I still cannot believe how amazing our DJ was and what an impact that made on how fun the night was. I've never seen a dance floor at a wedding stay busy like that before! I think the last one was being able to find a nice venue with good food/beverage package.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

Oh gosh, it was such a perfect day. I would say top highlights were... the ceremony, it was short and sweet but vows were so special and its such an intimate memorable moment. First look was nice to have some one-on-one time and get the nerves out before walking down the aisle. After that I'd say the entire evening, dancing with all of your loved ones on the dance floor all night was an absolute blast.

What made you choose Day of Diva?

Odai had done a bunch of research and we really wanted to have someone to help run the day, assist with our timeline and help us coordinate vendors leading up to the wedding. We had most things in order on our own and knew what vision we wanted overall. We found it really difficult to find vendors that offered day of coordination services or if they did, they were outside of our budget. Day of Diva had great reviews, fit within our budget and had a really accommodating and flexible package of services which we appreciated (I loved that we were able to book a design call to confirm a few things we had been planning/considering).

If you could provide a tip to another couple planning their wedding, what would it be?

Give yourself extra buffer for things that way if something arrives late or doesn't come out as you expected it to, you have time to adjust and wont feel stressed. Most importantly - Enjoy the day! There is always something that may happen on your wedding day. Your guests don't know your itinerary - if something doesn't go exactly how you imagined it, try not to let it get to you. Take in every moment throughout the day, it goes by so fast and there are so many core memories you will make. Think about the things that will make you enjoy your day and focus on that - I love to dance so I spent the whole evening on the dance floor and I never regretted it!
