Kendra & Colby (Azuridge Estate Hotel)

Updated: 5 days ago

There are wedding days that feel effortless from the moment they begin—days where laughter carries across the lawn, florals sway in the breeze, and every detail clicks beautifully into place. This was one of those weddings.

As Kendra and Colby’s coordinators, we had the privilege of watching this celebration come to life. And still, nothing could have prepared me for how radiant, relaxed, and joy-filled the day would truly be.

A Palette Inspired by Summer Gardens

From the start, the couple envisioned a day that felt soft, natural, and timeless—something that looked like it belonged in a blooming garden. Their bridesmaids’ dresses brought that vision to life with the most romantic array of blue hues: dusty blue satins, delicate floral prints, watercolor patterns, and gentle sky-blue tones. No two dresses were the same, yet together they created a perfectly curated ensemble that felt organic and cohesive. The couple was also intentional with their families outfits, tying them into the overall aesthetic.

Seeing everyone together—arms linked, bouquets overflowing with white blooms and greenery—felt like watching petals from the same flower drift together on a breeze.

The Bride’s Glow

The bride entered the ceremony surrounded by her closest friends, and there was an instant spark of energy. Her elegant white gown stood out beautifully against the ocean of blue by her side. There wasn’t a single posed moment here—their laughter was real, their movement natural, and every expression told the same story: today is the day we’ve been waiting for.

These are the moments that can’t be scripted—the bride whispering something that makes the whole group burst into laughter, a friend adjusting someone’s flowers, another smoothing the hem of her dress. It’s these tiny expressions of love that shape a wedding day.

Florals That Felt Like They Were Picked That Morning

The bouquets created by Hawthorn Plains were intentionally airy and garden-inspired: white roses, soft greenery, and playful textures that created movement rather than structure. They paired perfectly with the bridesmaids’ dresses, and in the outdoor setting they looked like they’d been gathered right from the surrounding landscape.

Watching the bridal party walk across the lawn, dresses lifting slightly in the breeze and florals trailing softly, was a planner’s dream.

A Wedding to Remember

Some weddings are beautiful because of the décor. Some are beautiful because of the setting.

But this one?

It was beautiful because of the people.

And while we’re honored to have guided the planning, the magic of this day came from the genuine love and friendship shared among everyone there. It was a celebration that felt honest, heartfelt, and deeply connected—exactly what every couple hopes their wedding will be.

If these photos are any indication, the joy of this day will last for years to come.
